COMORIN FIRE OUT
VOYAGE TO BE RESUMED TOMORROW MUCH DAMAGE TO CARGO Reed. 10.40 a.m. COLOMBO, Friday. The steamer Comorin, which was afire, is now completely out of danger, and will resume her voyage on Sunday, taking a full compliment of passengers. The extent of the damage has not yet been ascertained, but it is stated to be slight. The fire was extinguished late last night. There was a slight list to starboard, due to large quantities of water Pumped into the holds. With the Pumping out of the water, the ship regained au even keel.
