FINE PROGRAMME

BROADSIDING TONIGHT WESTERN SPRINGS STADIUM The meteing at Western Springs Stadium this evening should be one of the best both from a racing and interest point of view that has yet been held, a notable team of riders taking part-. Frank Pearce, who has thrilled the spectators in the past with his wonderful riding and who last week established a new lap record, will attempt to lower the mile record. In addition he will compete in match races with Skyd Perkins and with a local rider to be selected as well as racing in other events. Perkins will also compete against a local rider. The second round of the Pascoe Cup handicap will be decided. The first round last week saw some good riding among the local men and there is little difference in the points score. A change in leadership may take place this evening. It would be difficult to arrange a better programme and a record crowd should be seen.
