MOTOR-CYCLING MISHAP

PEDESTRIAN AND RIDER HURT

Two men were injured as the result of an accident in Ponsonby Road shortly after five o’clock last evening. While attempting to cross the road, Mr. John O’Meara, of Grey’s Avenue, was knocked down by a motor-cycle driven by Mr. Harold Tong, aged 19, of Pentlard Avenue, Mount Eden. Both men suffered injuries to the head and were removed to the Auckland Hospital. The condition of the injured men this morning is not serious.
