ANNUAL MEETING HELD From Our Own Correspondent PAPAKURA, Today. The annual meeting of the Papakura Golf Club was held last evening, Mr. K. D. McLennan presiding over a good attendance of members. The balance sheet showed the club to be in a strong financial position. The balance showed. £B3 2s over liabilities. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. E. D. McLennan; vicepresidents, Messrs. A. R. McLennan and P. .T. Parker; club captain, Mr. W. A. Pavitt; secretary, Mr. Wisliart; ; committee, Mrs. G. M. Tilston, Miss O’Callaghan. Mrs. 11. Walters. Messrs. J Langford., J. E. Elliott. Dr. W. G. Bridgman and G. M. Tilston; auditor, Mr, G. M. Tilston. It was decided to accept a trophy offered by Messrs. Walker and Hall with thanks. The date of the opening was left till an inspection had been made of the links. The subscriptions are to remain the same as last year. The question of reducing the price of the tickets for the annual ball was left to the committee. New members proposed were .Miss Honey ford. Miss Higgins and Miss McGregor. Votes of thanks were extended to the outgoing secretary. Mr. G. Smith, and to the chairman, Mr. E. D. McLennan, j
