TWO HOUSES BURNED
FIRE AT EASTBOURNE FLAMES DAMAGE THIRD Press Association * WELLINGTON, Today. Two dwellings with their contents were totally destroyed by fire at Eastbourse, and a third was considerably damaged, early this morning. One of the houses, both of which were modern i bungalows, was owned and occupied j by Mrs. Jacobs, of Wellington, and the other was owned by Mrs. Waters, of Wellington, and occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Hunt. The high northerly wind carried the flames from Mrs. Waters's property to ’bat of Mrs. Jacobs, nd the fire also spread to a third house belonging to Mr. D. Bowie, but the outbreak here w as checked alter some damage had been
