HORSE MANURE
Animal manure, however, is very varied and this has an important bearing. That from the horse is rich in potash, phosphoric acid and ammonia. It is the most suitable manure of all for clay or heavy loams that have a tendency to become sticky or run together. Horse manure must not be used in a fresh state, but from a pile that is partly decomposed.
