EMERGENCY NIGHT-LIGHTS

Night lights are useful things to have in the house in case of sickness. To make them, melt all odds and ends of candles or candle-grease, removing any pieces of wick or foreign matter seen floating on the surface. Pour the wax into moulds of suitable size to a depth of about three-quarters of •an inch. Round pill or ointment boxes make excellent moulds. As the wax is setting, place a. wax vesta match in the centre to form a wick. When cold, run a knife round the edges oi the mould, and the night light is ready for use.
