CHAMPION CROQUET
SINGLES FINAL TODAY Under ideal weather conditions the Auckland Croquet Association’s championship singles competition was played y*est.erday. Mrs. Cole won the first game, the second going to Miss Heatley after a hard finish. Mrs. Cole took the third game making two perfect breaks, Miss Heatley being well round with one ball and making five hoops with the other.
The handicap singles final will be played today* at Kemuera, the contestants bein?-:' Mesdumes Col- and White
