NEW ISLAND STEAMER
ORDER PLACED FOR SYDNEY TRADING SHIP PASSENGER ACCOMMODATION SYDNEY, Friday. The firm of Burns, Pliilp, and Co., Ltd., has placed an order with Clasgow shipbuilders for a new motorship for the island trade. Tho length of the vesel is to be 340 feet. She will be of a combined passenger and cargo type, and will have accommodation for 140 first class passengers.
