Tomorrow’s A.C.A. Games
ALTHOUGH Parnell is in an impregnable position at the top of the championship ladder, it will have to stand a good challenge tomorrow afternoon from Y.M.C.A., when the fourth series of matches in the second round of the Auckland Cricket Association's senior A grade competition are scheduled to commence.
Y.M.C.A. went very near to forcing an innings victory over University last Saturday, and as Parnell will be weakened by the absence of Wensley, Y.M.C.A. should be able to put up a good fight, although there is little chance of the powerful leading team being defeated. Ponsonby will play Eden on No. 2 wicket at Eden Park and another good battle should eventuate. United Suburbs meets Grafton on the third wicket, and over at Devonport University will play North Shore.
