BRAVE MOTHER
FIVE children saved FROM BLAZE struggle through smoke Special to THE SUN NEW PLYMOUTH, Today. When their five children were sleeping quietly, Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Julian, of Greenmeadows Beach, a summer resort farm near Opurake, returned from a short walk at ten o'clock last night to find the house filled with smoke, and soon roaring flames took possession. Mrs. Julian won her way to the bedrooms, and rescued her five halfsuffocated children, while Mr. Julian made frantic attempts to save the furniture and effects. His efforts were unsuccessful, however, so fierce was the spread of the flames, and practically no property was saved. The house, consisting of eight rooms, owned by Mr. Julian, was razed. It was covered by insurance.
