DANGER TO SHUNTERS

TREES IN QUAY STREET ORDER FOR REMOVAL Because three trees in the vicinity o£ the railway inward goods shed, Quay Street, interfere with the vision of railway shunters at the crossing to Kings Wharf the shrubs will be removed. The decision was made by the City Council last evening at the request of the district engineer of railways. Reporting, the City Engineer, Mr. J. Tyler, said that the trees were of poor growth and recommended their removal.
