TWO YOUTHS IN COURT
THEFT AND RECEIVING CHARGES From Our Own Correspondent NEW PLYMOUTH, Today. Two young men from Otahuhu appeared in the Hawera Magistrate’s Court before Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M , on AVednesday charged with theft and receiving respectively. "William Herbert Yule, aged 17, was charged with the theft at Auckland on December 6 of a hat, 11 yards of silk, four yards of crepe de chine, three ties and two shirts, the whole valued at £4 7s 3d. from Ross and Glendinning, Limited, a pair of gloves valued at 7s 6d from Norman Cooper, of Whakamara on March 7 and oh January 11, a towel valued at 3s from E. Gallagher. Milton William Stacey, also aged 17, was charged with having reecived from Yule at Otahuhu on December 24 a safety razor, a shirt and a tie. knowing them to have been dishonestly obtained. Both came before the Court on remand and both pleaded guilty. On the charge of thefts from Ross and Glendining, Yule was furthe remanded, while on the other charges he was convicted, discharged and ordered jto return the goods. Stacey was also again remanded.
