Buckley, of Wanganui, adjudicated. Afternoon results: B Grade Quickstep.—Hawera, 1; New Plymouth Regimental, 2. C Grade Quickstep.—Eltham, 1; Kaponga. 2: Opunake, 3. Pipe Bands.—Eltham, 3 Stratford, Evening results: B Grade Selection.—Hawera, 1, New Plymouth Citizens, 2. C Grade Selection.—Eltham. 1: Patea, 2; Opunake, 3. The contest was a financial success, and the Eltham committee was congratulated by the president ol’ the North Island Bands’ Association on the a rrangements.
