GET MORE THAN FARMERS
WAGES OF DAIRY WORKERS Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The Arbitration Court is today engaged in hearing a dispute of the Wellington dairy factory workers. The action was brought by the employers and the union is the counter-claimant. The employers’ case rests largely on the number of small dairy farms in the district. These are stated to number 4,500, which, it is alleged, give less return to their owners than the factory employees get.
