WEIGHT-GUESSING RESULTS
Winners in weight-guessing contests at the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association’s show went closely to the correct weights. Mr. F. Marks judged the actual weight of an ox, 7181 b, and Mr. K. D. Orr was only a pound short. Mr. A. J. Harris was. a pound below 872 Jib. the weigfit of a heifer, and Mr. C. Bayliss guessed STOjUb- Three sheep weighing 19851 b were estimated by Mr. A. IP. Waring to be 2001 b. and by Mr. A. <D. Bell to be 2011 b. Mr.A. R. Brown gave 145J1b to be the weight of a 144 Jib pig, and Mr. j R- Hall, who won a gold medal for j the most accurate estimates in the four classes, and Mr. V. Marshall ] guessed 1471 b,
