DISCIPLINE OVERDONE
GERMAN SERGEANT RECORDS OWN SUICIDE SUCCESSOR INSTRUCTED BERLIN, Wednesday. Stern old-time Prussian discipline, maintained to the verge of death, characterised the suicide of Paul Faulek, a sergeant of the Reichswehr. The man entered the pending tragedy in the company’s record book as follows:—“At 12.10 a.tp. Sergeant Ifaulck committed suicide by shooting himself. Corporal Junker is instructed to take over at reveille.”
