FATHER OF REVOLUTION
CHINA REMEMBERS SUN YAT SEN FOREIGN FLAGS HALF MAST Reed. 10.58 a.m. SHANGHAI, Wed. The anniversary of the death of Dr. Sun Yat Sen. the father of the Chinese revolution, passed off quietly today. The majority of Chinese industries suspended operations. It is noteworthy that foreign warships flew flags at half-mast. It appears definitely confirmed that General Yen Hsi Shan’s revolt has Proved a failure. Yen is apparently not receiving the military support he expected. The situation is quiet. Y'eri is reported to be leaving for abroad.
