PRINCE EDWARD
“The Canary Alurder Case,” which is one of the finest of the mysterythriller talkies, continues to delight audiences at the Prince Edward Theatre. The story is from the pen of the versatile S. S. van Dine, and introduces his detective creation, Philo Vance, played by William Powell. By a psychological study, the detective endeavours to find which of six suspects committed a certain murder, and the result is in doubt until the end. Good supports are also being shown.
