From Our Own Correspondent PIIKEKOHE, Today. Pupils and members of the staff of tho Pukekohe Technical High School assembled last week to bid farewell to V. K. Raines, M.A., who lias been on the staff for the past three years, and who is leaving the service. Presentations of a portable French clock, a pair of ebony-backed military hairbrushes and a silver cigarette case, all suitably inscribed, were made by the head girl, Aliss A. Bowden, the head boy, Master F. Kedd, and the headynaster, Air. W. F. J. Alunro, the three of whom eulogised Air. Raines’s services and wished him every prosperity in his new undertakings.
