DOMINION ROAD CLUB The following are the results of the fifth round of two club competitions, conducted by the Dominion Road Bowling Club. Championship singles.— Ramsey beat S. E. Chappell; Norgrove beat Layland; E. E. Roberts beat W. Wilson; Truman beat Newton; Kelly beat Clews; Denison a bye. In this competition, Messrs. Denison and Ramsey still have two lives, while the remaining players are one lifers. Handicap pairs.—Rattray and Denison beat Donald and Barber; Fer-gu-sson and Kelly beat Guthrie and Sayers; Percy and Winks beat A. R. Davis and Gunning; Winthrop and Codd beat Scott and W. H. Clarke; Blair and Bush beat Yeoman and Brvden; Sessions and R. H. Fisher beat Huston and Newton. Messrs. Rattray and Denison are the only pair with two lives in this competition.

CADNESS CUP The final of the second annual tournament for the Cadness Cup, which is at present held by the Devonport Club, takes place on the Waitemata Bowling Club’s green at Northcote tomorrow'. The cup, which was presented by Mr. H. Cadness, president of the Waitemata Club, is for. a series of competitions among the four North Shore clubs. Two rinks are engaged from each club, and play three games each in all-day tournaments on each of the four clubs’ greens in turn. The highest aggregate score for the 12" games determines the winning club, which holds the cup until next season. The position of the various clubs is at present: Devonport, first round, 140 points; second round, 147; third round, 132 —total, 419; Takapuna, 121, 142, 129—392; Waitemr ‘a, 122,91, 100—322; Stanley, 107, 97, 117 -321. » MANGERE CLUB TOURNEY The final of the full rink tournament, held by the Mangere Bowling Club, was played yesterday, and resulted in an easy win for the Remuera quartet. Taumarunui and Taihape bowlers clashed at the Taumarunui greens over the week-end, the Rimu Cup and the Thompson Banner being the trophies in dispute. For the cup, Taumarunui won two games out of three, with 70 points against the visitors’ 58. Mr. O’Callaghan, of the Taihape team, handed the Rimu Cup to Taumarunui. Mr. G. E. tered its fourth win for the Thompson banner, and as there are only two more matches to play, it would appear as if the club will hold the trophy for the ensuing year.
