FISH RUNNING STRONGLY Special to THE SLiy CHRISTCHURCH, Today. Salmon are running strongly. in Canterbury rivers, and during the week-end fish up to 281 b were taken. One fisherman in the *WaimakarL*i landed two of 201 b and three of 141 b. while a 28-pounder was taken from the Rakaia at the Huts. Fish were still running plentifully in the Waimakariri yesterday. This year the salmon are not marked and gjished as they have been in the past.
