WILL THE CARS OF THE FUTURE LOOK LIKE THIS?—Max Valier, well-known German astronomer and inventor, at the wheel of his chemic-ally-driven rocket automobile, which underwent successful tests recently. The car carries several gas-tanks in the forward part filled with carbonic acid which explodes small rockets in the rear part, sending the car forward. The use of carbonic acid is safer and cheaper, according to the inventor, as the older rocket-driven cars used power to explode the rockets.
