BRIDE WEARS GOWN OF PALE PINK TAFFETA
JACK—FINLAYSON A pretty wedding was celebrated at All Saints’ Church, Kamo, on Tuesday, when Miss Margaret Jack was married to Mr. Graeme Finlayson. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. X. I*. Jack, wore a. dainty frock of shell-pink taffeta and tulle. Her pink silk tulle veile was held in place with pink orange blossoms and she carried a beautiful bouquet to tone. Miss Linda Gossling, of Auckland, who attended as bridesmaid, wore a graceful frock of betty blue georgette. Her grey pandan hat was trimmed with pink and blue to tone with a Victorian posy which she carried. Mr. Murdock McDonald acted as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Jack, who received her guests wearing a black crepe de chine frock and Bankok hat trimmed with fawn. She carried a bouquet of mauve and pink asters. The church was prettily decorated by friends of the bride. Later Mr. and Mrs. Finlayson left for the South by car, the bride wearing a lemon crepe de chine jumper under a musquash coat.
