LOAN OVER-SUBSCRIBED
AUSTRALIAN CONVERSION ARRANGEMENTS SYDNEY, Sunday. The Federal Treasurer, Mr. E. G. Theodore, announces that the Commonwealth conversion and redemption loan, bearing interest at 6 per cent., with a currency of seven years, has been over-subscribed. The national debt siukiag fund provided £1.500,000, and the public ajv plied by cash or conversion for about £9.500,000.
