At Hoboken, New Jersey, a gang of illicit beer dealers, within sight of the City Hall, swept a street corner with a fusillade from machine-guns and sawed-ofi: shotguns from a motor-car, which ran through the streets, seriously injuring three children, and then escaped. The police captured one of the gang, who blew out his brains with a rifle.
