MORE ENGLISH MARRIAGES. — The number of marriages in England and Wales last year was 310,590. which to the highest for eight years. But the births were 644,215. the lowest on record. The number of deaths wa« 532,525. tbe highest since 1019. owing to the abnormally cold weather.
