CLAY-BIRD SHOOT
The Metropolitan Gun Club held it> usual fortnightly shoot on Saturday Trophies were donated by Mr. C. E Hodge, and G. H. Brown. Results.—No. 7 bird sweepstake: E. N. Barratt, 12yds, and F. ICay-Stratton. 12yds, shot six each, and divided the stake. No. 2 7-bird sweepstake was won by E. N. Barratt, 12yds, with C. F. Kay-Stratton second with 51. No. 3: 15-bird match for Mr. C. E. Hodge's trophy—E. N. Barratt, 3 3yds, 14, 1. H. E. Knight, 13yds, E. Wilson, 11yds. and P. N. Gallie, 14yds, ti 3d for second place with 12 each. No. 4. 10-bird match, B grade, for Mr. G. H. Brown’s trophy: L. Peterson, 11yds, and D. Stoupe, 11yds, tied with eight each In tli£i shoot-off, Peterson won on the nineteenth bird. No. 5, seven-bird sweepstake: E. N. Barratt, 14yds, 6,1; M. Delich, 13yds, H. E. Knight. 13yds and L. Peterson, 11yds. 5 each. The last shoot of the season will be held on March 22.
