MEETING OF PROTEST HELD Press Association STRATFORD, Today. A public meeting was held at Stratford on Saturday, convened by Mr. H. G. Dickie, Mr. C. A. 'Wilkinson and Mr. W. J. Poison, M.P.’s for the purpose of considering the present position of the Taranaki Scholarship Fund. A resolution was passed as follows: “This meeting will resent any attempt to divert any part of the Opaku Endowment, and is also of the opinion that . more scholarships should be granted to Taranaki students, that such should be substantially increased and varied, and made available at Massey College, and that greater publicity should be given to the availability of the scholarships.
