TAUPIRI GARAGE FIRE OWNER SUFFERS BURNS From Our Own Correspondent TAUPIRI, Today. Fire broke out in the Taupiri Garage on Sunday afternoon while the owner, Mr. R. T. Hill, was working with benzine. There was a sudden burst of flame and Mr. Hill was seen to run from, the building with both of his arms burning. Help soon arrived and the motor vehicles were quickly removed and tools and plant were thrown out. Fortunately the acetone welding plant nearby did not ignite. The building, which is insured in the National Insurance Company, owing to the quick action of the helpers, was not; badly burned.

Mr. Hill is suffering from burns and shock.
