NEW DOMINION ANALYST
MR. W. DONOVAN APPOINTED From Our Resident Reporter r WELLINGTON, Today. The position of Dominion nnalyst. which will be left vacant by the retirement at the end of this month of Dr. J. S. Maclaurin, will be filled by the appointment of Mr. W. Donovan, of the Dominion Laboratory. Mr. Donovan was born at Thames in 1879 and educated at the Thames High School, the Thames School of Mines and the Otago and Auckland Universities. In 1905 ho joined the staff of the Dominion Laboratory, when called the Mines Department laboratory.
