PROBATION FOR THIEF From, Our Own Correspondent ROTORUA, Today. In the Police Court this morning David Stanley Hogg was charged before Mr. S. L. Paterson, S.M., with stealing a handbag, shirt, socks, and swimming outfit, the property of Dulcie Roper and Herbert Ernest Duncan. Accused pleaded guiltv. Sergeant Hogan stated that accused s people could do nothing with him. He had previously been in trouble at Hamilton. Mr. E. Roe asked for leniency on account of accused’s youth. The magistrate said he would give accused a chance, and admitted him > to probation for two years.
