ORDER NEGLECTED
DRINKS COST £5 “He doesn’t seem to take much notice of the order,” remarked Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., when Francis John Hayes appeared before him at the Police Court this morning charged with drunkenness and a breach of his prohibition order. Hayes, a gumdigger, aged 32, pleaded guilty to being found drunk in Graham Street and breaking the terms of his prohibition order. “He broke the order in December and January also,” put in Sub-Inspector McCarthy. Hayes was fined £5, in default 21 days’ imprisonment, on the second charge. On the count of drunkenness he was convicted and discharged. A request for time to pay was refused.
