CLARA BOW’S MOVE
May Continue Career on Stage POSITION WITH PARAMOUNT Clara Bow and Harry Ricliman may be the next to- be called away from the screen, for a few months at least. George White wants them for “Flying High,” a musical show, and though he will be paying high fees, he considers them worth any amount of money. Richman, who has finished his picture, “Puttin’ On the Ritz,” is back again at his New York night club, while Clara’s position with Paramount is somewhat obscure. Although she was reported to have signed a twoyears’ contract several months ago, her engagement is now said to be expiring in a few weeks, and unless the renewal terms are satisfactory to her, she will turn to the stage. Richman and Clara Bow became engaged some time ago. The alliance was broken off for a time but renewed recently.
