ORIENTALS NOT WANTED
B.C. BOYS’ PARLIAMENT CAUSES STIR INCLUSION OF JAPANESE Reed, noon. VICTORIA (8.C.), Friday. The inclusion of a Japanese youth in the Provincial Boys’ Parliament precipitated a warm protest from Mr. C. F. Davie, Conservative, who deplored this inclusion as an encouragement to Orientals, who were not wanted in British Columbia. The Oriental Exclusion League of British Columbia is a powerful organisation in the province, and includes among its members several members of the Provincial Legislature. Its chief object is the entire exclusion from British Columbia of all Orientals.
