KING PRESENTS MEDALS
HONOURS FOR BRAVERY ALL RANKS OF LIFE British Official Wireless RUGBY, Thursday. The second investiture at Buckingham Palace today by King George was in contrast to the official one on Tuesday. It was private and morning dress was worn. The 90 recipients of honours and decorations were drawn from all ranks of life, and included a miner and seamen. The King presented nine medals for gallantry in saving life at sea. Some of these were in connection with rescues from ships itt distress during the tempestuous gales of last year.
