Blundell Bowls Well

E. D. Blundell and M. Prince have been in great fettle with the ball at Wellington during the past two weeks, and many wickets have fallen before their attack. Blundell, who plays for the Wellington'Club since he returned from Cambridge, took six Old Boys’ wickets for 69 runs in the first innings and eight for 105 in the second —probably his best performance since ne returned home. Prince, who bowls for Institute, took seven Petone wickets in the first innings for 41 and in the second, three for one run more, wnich are really better figures than those of Blundell. His average works out at something just over 8 runs per wicket, whereas each of Blundell’s wickets cost just over 12 runs.
