FIRE DAMAGES CAR

Fire which broke out in a garage ! at 11 Charlton Avenue. Mount Eden. 1 shortly after nine o’clock last evening, caused extensive damage to th« bodywork of a sedan motor-car owned j by Mr. A. W. Beere. The Mount Eden : Brigade attended and managed to extinguish the flames before the engin® and chassis of the car were damaged. The garage escaped lightly.
