MOTOR RACES TOMORROW
TEN EVENTS ARRANGED Cars, motor-cycles and airplanes will combine to make a memorable day’s sport at Henning’s Speedway, Mangere, tomorrow. Ten racing events will be run off and an exhibition of aerobatics and stunting given by an Auckland Aero Club plane. Chief interest will centre around the contest for the New Zealand Light Car Cup, but good racing is also promised in the other car events. The Miller Special will again be on the track, competing against such tried speedsters as the Stutz and the Austin Special. The motor-cycle sidecar event, too, will not be lacking in interest. The first event is to begin at 1 p.m. and it is hoped to conclude the meeting before 5 o’clock.
