tho ground. Finding himself free, Lord Lu attempted to climb over a stono wall, but a bystander rushed in, and secured the perturbed pacer by the head before he had time to do much damage. Mr. Young, who fell heavily, was badly shaken, but the horse escaped with a few minor abrasions. Had it not been for the timely assistance of the onlooker, Lord Lit would have been badly knocked about.
