SEAMAN SENT TO GAOL
RARANGA’S CARGO BROACHED Press Association WELLINGTON, Tod ay. A seaman on the Raranga named Lis was sentenced to six weeks’ gaol today for broaching, or being a party to the broaching, of the cargo of a large quantity of cigarettes, most of which were found subsequently in the coal bunkers. He will be placed aboard if the vessel leaves the Dominion in the meanwhile.
