With the installation of a third generator at Arapuni the output now aggregates 45.000 k.w. The present horsepower capacity is 60.000, more than ample for the present needs of the Auckland Province. To keep in line with the industrial development of the province there is also the guarantee of a future capacity of 160,000 horse-power.
