YOUNG—BUTTERWORTH

The marriage took place at St. Mary’s Pro-Cathedral. Parnell, on Tuesday, of Myrtle, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Butterworth, of Mount Eden, to Arthur Nelson, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Young. Mount Eden. The Rev. K. J. MacFarland performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dainty frock of ivory lace and satin beaute, with long sleeves, and circular lace skirt, edged with a wide band of satin. The long tulle veil was arranged as a cap, and held in place with orange * blossoms. She carried a beautiful shower bouquet. The bride was attended by two maids, Miss Peggy Cahill and Miss Joan Chapman, whose frocks were of water-lily green georgette, with flounces of silk net dipping to the ankles at the sides. They wore green tulle hats, trimmed with tangerine shaded velvet ribbon, and carried l>ouquets of tangerine flowers. Mr. Rav.Young, brother, of the bridegroom. was best man, and Mr. P. Cook was groomsman. A reception was held after the ceremony in the Click Clack Cabaret. To receive her guests, Mrs. Butterworth wore a dove-grey georgette and lace ensemble, and grey fur and hat. She carried a bouquet of mauve flowers. The bridegroom’s mother chose a frock of navy crepe de chine, relieved with floral trimmings. She wore a liat to tone, and carried a bouquet in autumn tints.
