YOUTH’S UNUSUAL RUSE Representing himself as a boxer who was engaged by the Te Awamutu Boxing Association to fight Clarrie Craig at Te Awamutu on February 10, and obtaining £9 10s from Albert Walters and £5 from Frank Walters, Sydney Gordon Ross, aged 20, appeared before Mr. F. IT. Levien S.M., at the Onehunga Rolice Court this morning on a charge of false pretences. Accused pleaded guilty, and was placed on two years’ probation and ordered to make full restitution in addition to £1 5s 6d court fees.
