NECK BROKEN BY FALL SHOCK FROM POWER LINE Press Association lIAWERA, Today. Lindsay Allan, aged 35. a foreman telegraph linesman of Hawera, was the victim of a fatal fall at Kaponga yesterday. He leaves a widow and three children. He was astride a crossarm at the top of a telegraph pole, adjusting his safety belt, when, as the result, apparently, of a shock from the electricpower line, he fell into the telegraph wires. Another linesman, who mounted the ladder to assist him, grasped his beit, which parted. Allan fell to the ground, dying immediately from a broken neck.
