FATE OF JAPANESE STEAMER NO TRACE OF CREW United P. A.—By Telegraph—Copyright TOKYO, Tuesday. The cargo steamer Fukuju Maru was wrecked yesterday in a blizzard near Hakodate. It is feared that the 32 members of the crew have all been drowned. A destroyer searched, but could find no trace of any survivors.

The Fukuju Maru was *an iron steamer of 1784 tons gross register. She was built by Wigham, Richard* son and Co., at Newcastle in 1893. She was owned by the Murao Steamship Company, and her port of registry was Amagasaki. Hakodate is a seaport town and large port in Japan.
