Sir Francis Dillon Bell returned to Wellington last evening. Sir James Gunson returned to Auckland by the Limited express today. Dr. C. J. Reakes, Directpr-General of Agriculture, was a passenger to Auckland by the Limited this morning. The Hon. C. J. Carrington, M L.C., Mrs. Carrington and family, will leave Dargaville next week to reside iu Auckland. Lieutenant-Colonel F. Syraon, director of artillery, who arrived in Auckland on Monday, returned to Wellington by train last evening. Sir Maui Pomare, M.P. for Western Maori, who has bene indisposed for some considerable time, is reported to be making; slow but steady progress toward recovery. The Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates. Leader of the Opposition, arrived in Auckland from Dargaville this morning. Mr. Coates, who is accompanied by Mrs. Coates, will leave for Wellington this evening. HOTEL REGISTER Grand.—Mr. H.
