SUBURBAN THEATRES
Entertaining pictures will be screened at the Thomas A. O’Brien suburban theatres again this evening. The Tivoli Theatre, Karangahape Road, is showing “The Dance of Life,” a story of back stage life starring Nancy Carroll and Hal Skelly. The Rialto Theatre, Newmarket, and the Regent Theatre, Epsom, are showing “The Sawdust Paradise,” a circus story starring Esther Ralston, and “The Sunset Pass,” a Zane Grey story starring Jack Holt. The Britannia Theatre, Three Lamps, is presenting the fine dramatic talkie, “The Wolf of Wall Street,” starring Baclanova, George Bancroft and Paul Lukas; also shorter talkie items. FINE FILMS AT LYRIC It' you enjoy stories of intrigue and excitement, don’t miss Pola Negri’s picture, “Hotel Imperial,” which is now at the Lyric Theatre. Mauritz Stiller directed, under the supervision of Erich Pommer. “Life’s Circus,” a thrilling and romantic story of circus folk, completes the Lyric’s programme.
