TAURANGA RIFLE CLUB

From. Our , Own Correspondent TAURANGA, Today. The Tauranga Defence Rifle Club's weekly shoot on Saturday was for a trophy presented by the Mayor. The shoot was 500yds and 600yds range. There were nine competitors. The results for the first three were:—C. J. Kiddie, 46 and 44 (with a handicap of 6 points); total, 100. Rifleman Ward. 45 and 44 (handicap 11), total 100; Pres. Merrielees, 44 and 43 (handicap 13), total 100. As the one with the lowest handicap was Rifleman Kiddie, he won the trophy.
