ROTORUA MOTOR-CYCLE CLUB
MEETING WITH WHAKATANE From Our Own Correspondent ROTORUA, Today. The Rotorua Motor-cycle Club met members of the Whakatane Club at Okataina on Sunday. A series of mishaps occurred to both parties, and Whakatane did not arrive until 1.30 p.m. One of its number crashed rather badly, and was taken home by car, the cycle being abandoned. Arrangements were made regarding the trip to Auckland on March 14. it being decided to join up at Hamilton late on Friday evening. W. Bigwood stated he would ride his camshaft Norton, as he will be competing at Takapuna. The Whakatane Club cordially invited the local riders to try out its new dirt track later in the season.
